We are specialists in the design and manufacture of pulsed Nd:YAG lasers, PIV Nd:YAG lasers, DPSS Nd:YAG, CW Nd:YLF lasers and true TEM00 lasers.

– Lasers designed for research, engineered for industry.

The Plasma Series high energy are diode pumped, pulsed, high repetition, Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers. These systems use the very latest in high efficiency fully diode pumped oscillator and amplifier technology to replace traditional flashlamp pumping.

Litron’s extremely versatile and successful compact lasers are stable, robust and rugged. True flexibility and advanced automated control features allow you to concentrate on your application and not operating the laser, making them perfect for industrial use.

Litron produces a range of high frequency, CW and Q-switched CW diode pumped lasers for a variety of applications. These are based around both Nd:YAG and Nd:YLF.

Litron’s Aurora laser systems are fully motorised, Type II BBO OPOs pumped by our DPSS Nd:YAG lasers available in fully integrated or removable modules.

The LPY series of high repetition pulsed lasers have been designed to suit almost any industrial or research application. Based around a fully self-supporting invar rail, the LPY series exhibit both exceptional mechanical and thermal stability.

Ultra-high energy pulsed Q-switched Nd:YAG Lasers can provide energies up to 10J at 1064nm. These rugged, Invar stabilised, pulsed Nd:YAG lasers offer wide capabilities for industrial and scientific applications.

The flashlamp compact lasers are suited to a multitude of applications including LIBS, LIDAR, PIV and spectroscopy. Sealed against the ingress of moisture and dust, they provide unrivalled flexibility both in laboratory research and for industrial applications.

Litron’s flexible approach and expertise in laser design
means custom lasers are a natural part of our production.
Custom lasers can be either built based on standard modules or,
where necessary, Litron can offer a complete design to fit your needs.

PIV & Visualisation

Litron Lasers is the acknowledged leader in supplying lasers for PIV applications, ranging from lamp pumped Nd:YAG lasers in the 15 to 200Hz repetition rates range up to diode pumped Nd:YLF and Nd:YAG lasers giving kHz repetition rates for high speed applications.

Spectroscopy & LIBS

We offer the widest range of laser systems to fit your spectroscopy needs. Our laser systems’ narrow linewidth enables precise wavelength resolution to be achieved while the high peak powers from Q-switched lasers enable nonlinear optical phenomena to be investigated.
